Yellow zucchini are lean and cylindrical with a smaller stem end. Their skin is glossy and deep green in colour. Their crisp flesh is creamy white in colour. As for the flavour, it is peppery and complex with grassy undertones. Yellow zucchini may be boiled, steamed, baked, pickled, deep-fried, braised or grilled. They can be sliced and added raw to salads. They pair well with tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, parsley, olive oil, and roasted meats.
